Blogging Background

Since this is my first entry, I thought I would share with you how I got started with writing about food and recipes. A couple months ago my husband volunteered me to blog for a new website. My wonderful husband said to his friend: "Beth would love to do a cooking blog for the website," and this was news to me! Although I was a bit annoyed with Greg at first, I agreed to do the blog and I have been having a lot of fun with it. To me, one of the nice things about blogging is finding out info about those who visit your page and being able to interact with them. Since that blog was being written for someone else, I was not able to access viewer data - and I really wanted to have that opportunity.
I started this blog as a continuation of the other blog, and I will be posting my favorite recipes here. I hope you enjoy the recipes that are shared.

Toasted almonds & pumpkin seeds. Everything tastes so much better when they're toasted!
